Overview

Our client is hiring a Line Operator in Charlotte, NC.

The Production Line Operator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing or packaging lines. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting the overall production process to meet scheduled targets and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production line equipment according to standard operating procedures and production schedules.
  • Monitor equipment and product flow to identify possible issues and maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve technical problems or equipment malfunctions.
  • Complete routine cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance on assigned machinery.
  • Accurately document production data, materials used, and any issues or downtime as required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines, including proper use of protective equipment and adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, addressing any potential hazards promptly.
  • Participate in on-the-job training as needed to remain up-to-date with procedures and equipment.
  • Support additional production or warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and operational procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
