Senior Director of Total Communications Department

Total Communications is seeking an experienced writer and speak to direct the Group (and subsidiaries)s in communications and public relations (PR). Candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Lead the Total Communications(TOLCOM) Department in formulating effective communications strategies for the Group & subsidiaries;

1. Lead and coach colleagues across various departments and subsidiaries on formulating rules of engagement and effective execution of various TOLCOM programs;

1. Lead colleagues in budget planning and formulation of KPIs to ensure effective use of funds;

1. Overseeing the daily activities of TOLCOM, including internal and external communications, branding, product development, services, advertising, events management, agency management, etc

1. Management of various news events and to deliver news at events, and work with media to ensure a range of coverage

Qualifications, Experience and Skillsets

This is a senior leadership role which requires the Candidate to meet the following criteria:

1. At least a university degree or equivalent certifications in Journalism, Corporate Communications, Public Relations and/or Psychology from an accredited educational institution;

1. At least cumulative 8 years experience with an agency providing the above services to corporate clients and as an in-house manager related to the above scope;

1. In addition to strong leadership and communications skills (both written and verbal), desired candidate should possess strong coaching mindset to cultivate a strong team to support the programs and to maintain a high standard of communication both internal and external of the organization;

1. Exhibit strong planning and budget skills, with the ability to manage time, internal and external resources;

1. Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with media outlets and other organizations

1. Willingness to be resident in Cambodia, strong competency in at least 2 languages, English and Chinese preferred, in addition to Khmer.
