POSITION:  IT Technician

Regular Duties:

  • Responds to support requests via multiple sources such as phone and email. Enters call data into the tracking system. Interacts with clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Configures, installs and troubleshoots PCs, peripheral equipment, and other personal computing devices both through remote control tool and on desk side.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses escalated problems by evaluating multiple options using checklists and guides. Seeks technical assistance or escalates problem, when necessary. Implements predetermined software or hardware changes to rectify any issues.
  • Identifies recurring issues impacting service(s) and alerts Tier II / Purchaser IT Team members.
  • Provide support on Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Configure and troubleshoot Clients Laptop and personal laptops with the Banks Remote Access tool such as Cisco AnyConnect and MyConnect.
  • Provide Audio & Videoconference technical support (including weekends, before office hours and after hours as needed)
  • Adds or upgrades and configures Printers, Scanners, Multi-function printing devices, Digital Senders and related equipment.
  • Provide home office support to The WB Country Manager and IFC Resident Representative (e.g. Laptop, desktop, printer, vc and audio equipment, power backup system etc.).
  • Issue/receive cell phones, SecurID tokens, satellite phones and other accessories from pool to staff and update inventory.
  • Works with basic infrastructure products and basic networking products. Provides maintenance and support for basic client products, peripherals, network and physical moves, document network configurations and diagrams.
  • On-site or off-site Workshop/Seminar/Conference support for operating multimedia projector, conference room audio visual equipments (microphones, mixer, speakers etc.) and along with other IT support services
  • Configure and troubleshoot Clients handheld devices such as iPad, iPhone and Android devices with external network such as GSM data and WiFi Internet to synchronize Bank email and calendar.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures and demonstrates commitment to achieve SLA goals of the team.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information System Management with minimum three (3) years of experience OR equivalent work experience with minimum of five (5) years in the Information Technology support field preferably in development organization.
  • In-depth understanding of information technology systems which includes common computer applications, standard operating system and desktop software including but not limited to Microsoft Windows 10 and O365.
  • Strong Hands-on experience in resolving common problems in the area of Computer hardware, Remote Access and Network communications.
  • Experience with Lenovo, Dell, Cisco and Cannon/HP printing and scanning hardware.
  • Industry certifications like A+ and MCSE etc. preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluency both in Khmer and English (note: all candidates will be evaluated on their English capabilities both verbal and written during the screening).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and across organizational boundaries, as well as to handle multiple tasks, and coordinate with outside vendors.
  • Superior customer service approach to dealing with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment
  • Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Reliable, highly motivated with a positive attitude.
