CDRI- Cambodia leading independent development policy research institute is seeking Cambodian applicants for the position of Deputy Executive Director (Finance and Operations).In this position's She/he is member of the top management teamed reports directly to the Executive Director. The deputy executive director in charge of finance and operations works closely with the executive director and other members of the leadership team to set the organization's strategic goals. S/he then translates these into specific operational objectives.

The Deputy Director has the primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and budget-related activities of the institute to improve efficiency and reduce costs as needed. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, contract, and property management, budget analysis and negotiations, funder relationships and compliance, and institutional financing She/he provides the Executive Director recommendations and financial information to ensure sound and effective institutional governance, strategic planning, and development, and reporting to the Board and CDRIs partners. S/he assumes a strategic role in the overall financial management of the institute.
The applicants should have a masters degree/advanced degree in business administration (MBA)and/or a professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA).Possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).At least 10 years of experience in finance and operations, including a minimum of five years in a senior management role, such as director of finance, director of operation, or controller. Experiences in managing large project funds from international donors and funders. Strong analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, including an ability to work well with senior management, staff, and Board members. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of accountability and results orientation. Sensitivity to gender and Khmer cultural norms. Working knowledge of accounting software/applications (QuickBooks, Shape, Sun system, or advanced accounting system management).At least 10 years of experience in finance and operations, including a minimum of five years in a senior management role, such as director of finance, director of operation, or controller.

-Working time condition: the office hour is from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 to 5:30 PM; 8 eight hours per day and five days a week.
-Range of salary
:US$3,000 to US$4,000 per month
Benefits:

-Pension representing10%of the basic salary.
-Medical allowance-US$ 400.00per annum (including out-patient and health insurance for in-patient).
-Annual leave-18 days per year.
