Job Description

Merchandising Duties 

• Arrange and display products according to company standards and planograms.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and properly organized. 
• Monitor product expiry dates and apply FIFO (First In, First Out). 
• Ensure correct pricing, labeling, and promotional displays. Report damaged, expired, or slow-moving items to management.

Cashier Duties 

• Operate POS system and cash register accurately. 
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly. 
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy. 
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. 
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.

Inventory Procedures 

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock. 
• Verify quantities against delivery notes and invoices. 
• Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly). 
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. 
• Coordinate with supervisors on replenishment and stock orders. 
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory areas.
