Electrical Technician (GEMS)

Job Description

• Participate in planning and configuring daily tasks and schedules of electrical works in collaboration with relevant teams/departments
• Plan layouts, methods, equipment/tools, and materials for electrical assignments, based on requirements and required blueprints/drawings
• Install electrical equipment as per the applicable specifications and requirements
• Test electrical equipment upon installation to ensure they are in the required condition
• Troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues/malfunctions in the equipment as assigned
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules in a timely manner
• Set up the electrical components in accordance with the electrical specifications of each task
• Operate the necessary preparations prior to performing the electrical assignments
• Ensure equipment and tools are always maintained in a secure and appropriate condition
• Maintain required documentation, and prepare/submit required reports within agreed timeframes
• Always adhere to applicable regulations and HSSE standards
