Sales Supervisor

Position: Sales Supervisor(Male) Experience in Supermarket

Age: 23-35.

Job Description:

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily sales floor operations, ensuring excellent customer service, proper product merchandising, and effective staff supervision. The role ensures that store standards are met, including planogram compliance, FIFO implementation, and smooth team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support sales assistants to ensure efficient daily operations 
• Ensure shelves and displays are stocked according to approved planograms
• Monitor and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures for all products to minimize wastage and expiry losses
• Read, interpret, and implement merchandising and planogram guidelines correctly
• Ensure promotional displays, price tags, and signage are accurate and updated
• Conduct regular checks on expiry dates, product quality, and shelf presentation
• Monitor stock levels, identify fast- and slow-moving items, and report discrepancies
• Coordinate with store management and warehouse staff for replenishment
• Train, guide, and motivate sales staff on customer service, merchandising, FIFO, and store standards
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations
• Assist in achieving sales targets and improving store performance

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Sales Supervisor or senior sales assistant (preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of planograms, merchandising standards, and FIFO practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced supermarket environment
• Basic computer and reporting skills
