ESTIMATOR (Roads & Bridges)
Location: Gaborone, South-East District, Botswana
Salary: USD 2,000/month
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Age Requirement: 18 years old and above

Job Description

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects using Candy Software.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related documents to identify project requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to gather essential project information.
• Prepare and submit competitive and complete bids, working closely with the bid team to ensure full coverage of all project components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
• Must be a PRC Licensed (Passed Board/Bar/Profl License Exam) professional.
• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Cost Management, or related fields.
• Experience in roads, bridges, water supply, and sewage works is required.
• Proficient in Candy Software for cost estimation.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.

Additional Information

• Experience with CCS software is an advantage.
