  • Our client is seeking a Junior Business Developer to further expand their business in France

Responsibilities:

  • Within our Paris team, you will be in charge of the Business development of our customers and prospects portfolio.
  • During the first 2/3 months, you will be coached and managed by our CEO in Paris, who will train you in our most successful sales techniques and give you a better understanding of the financial sector.
  • Once trained, you help us grow our footprint in France. You will oversee a wide range of tasks adapted to our clients' needs. Your main duties will consist in:

o Managing an existing client portfolio (Retail Banks, Private Banks, CIB, Asset Managers, Insurers): 20%

o Identifying and contacting new business development opportunities - Cold calling where appropriate (Retail Banks, Private Banks, CIB, Asset Managers, Insurers): 80%

o Managing the business cycle as a whole: from telephone prospecting to the consultancy contract signing, which includes managing our clients' procurement process, physically participating and minuting appointments with prospects, and developing over time the client portfolio scope

o Designing sales and/or marketing materials related to our offers.

o Drafting sales proposals for clients and prospects.

o Managing a few ad-hoc requests related to our Paris branch development (marketing, communication, or administrative tasks such as client events organisation...)

  • You will also highlight the image of our firm in your daily actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduated with a masters degree in finance / Economics / Management / Business from a reputable business school, university, or engineering school.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and an ability to communicate complex issues in easy-to-understand terms.
  • Ability to help define outcomes for clients and follow-up in a coherent manner.
  • Driven, dynamic, enthusiastic, convincing, and capable of going the extra mile to succeed.
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to work across different disciplines.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure.
  • Fluent in French and English.

  • Ideally have some experience or background in a Financial Institution.
