Aaltos Server

The primary purpose of the Server position is to maintain excellent customer service in its atmosphere, to ensure guest satisfaction and a future return. Servers performing their jobs on a daily basis are required to be detailed in every aspect of their work. The Server is responsible for informing guests of meal and drink specials, offering suggestions, and carefully recording requests and wishes. The Server will ensure all needs and wants of guests are met beyond average expectations. The Server will adhere to all rules and guidelines as set to all department employees. You own your piece of real estate.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and guide them to their designated tables.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly.
• Clearing tables and resetting for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall dining room flow.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Support overall guest experience and contribute to a vibrant, entertaining environment.
• Lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Smart Choices certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address guest concerns efficiently.
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service.
