About the Opportunity

Canad Inns is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as casual Banquet Servers for a 30-day term.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hospitality experience, work in a team-oriented environment, and support a variety of banquets, celebrations, and special events.

Previous banquet experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, and service areas for events.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Carry banquet trays and assist with food service.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
• Support the banquet team with event setup and breakdown.
• Follow food safety, workplace safety, and customer service standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to safely carry heavy banquet trays and perform physical duties, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Previous serving, banquet, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.

Employment Term, Schedule and Work Locations

These are casual positions for a 30-day employment term. 

Hours will vary depending on banquet bookings and business needs. Weekly hours are not guaranteed. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Training Provided

Successful candidates will receive approximately 4–6 hours of banquet service training to help prepare them for their responsibilities.
