- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
- Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
- Performs other duties as required to provide Canad Four Star Service
- Able to interact with guests
- Open availability for shift coverage
Maintains overall cleanliness of the hotel's public space areas, offices and private areas by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis and performing deep cleaning projects as assigned
- Cleans all assigned public areas
- Cleaning of public restrooms
- Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor
- Cleans and polishes floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, etc.
- Vacuums, shampoos and removes spots from carpets
- Removes all litter from public space
- Dusts thoroughly
- Adheres to safety precautions and procedures for using hazardous chemicals
- Maintains supply cart
- Reports maintenance requests on a timely basis
- Delivers all received linens to all floors in an efficient controlled manner
- All other duties as required
- Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
- Attends work on time as scheduled
- Knows and follows safety procedures concerning blood-borne pathogens
