  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
  • Performs other duties as required to provide Canad Four Star Service
  • Able to interact with guests
  • Open availability for shift coverage

Maintains overall cleanliness of the hotel's public space areas, offices and private areas by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis and performing deep cleaning projects as assigned

  • Cleans all assigned public areas
  • Cleaning of public restrooms
  • Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Cleans and polishes floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, etc.
  • Vacuums, shampoos and removes spots from carpets
  • Removes all litter from public space
  • Dusts thoroughly
  • Adheres to safety precautions and procedures for using hazardous chemicals
  • Maintains supply cart
  • Reports maintenance requests on a timely basis
  • Delivers all received linens to all floors in an efficient controlled manner
  • All other duties as required
  • Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
  • Attends work on time as scheduled
  • Knows and follows safety procedures concerning blood-borne pathogens
