Were looking for a dedicated housekeeping professional with management experience to step into the role of Housekeeping Manager.

Summary: Working closely with the General Manager and other managers as a hands-on employee, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Housekeeping department to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the operation of the housekeeping, public space, and laundry areas.
  • Ensure that the rooms and public space areas are spotless and continually restocked and straightened.
  • Follow and implement processes, procedures, and standards for assigned departments.
  • Determine appropriate staffing levels for forecasted business and schedule employees accordingly.
  • Develop and implement processes for providing employees with customer service, technical, and safety training on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinates room maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Housekeeping management experience required in a busy hotel environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Understanding the need for punctuality, efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, and hospitable environment to ensure all guests feel welcome.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions.
