A medical clinic group specializing in family practice is looking for a couple of motivated, reliable, MOA's to join their team. Along with your Moa diploma, you would ideally have a few years of experience in a clinic environment. You love working with a team in order to help provide excellent patient care. You get on well with patients and physicians who believe you as someone who can be depended on. This is a friendly rewarding position that is conducive to allowing you to develop as an MOA. COVID measures are in place.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Scheduling patients
- Scheduling investigations
- Maintaining electronic patient files (uploading letters and results into Profile)
- Sending out consult and referral letters
- Maintaining relationships with specialist offices
- Checking-in patients
- Answering / triaging patient phone calls
- Monitoring and ordering supplies
- Maintenance of patient confidentiality
- Efficient use of Profile
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires an efficient, well-organized, individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program from a recognized institution is mandatory,
