About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced People & Culture Manager to join the leadership team on a part-time basis (4 days per week). This is a standalone position responsible for delivering the full spectrum of HR services, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, policy guidance, performance management, learning and development, compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and reward programs.

This role suits a hands-on, adaptable HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can operate autonomously, supported by HR administrative assistance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee the People & Culture function across both local employees and international partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the people strategy to support overall business performance and team engagement.

  • Lead core HR functions including recruitment, succession planning, organisational design, onboarding, performance management, talent retention, and employee experience.

  • Advise leaders on HR matters and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations related to employee relations, industrial relations, and workplace health and safety.

  • Partner with managers to design and deliver initiatives such as capability development and organisational change projects.

  • Oversee HR administration as part of the role.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field.

  • At least 5 years experience in a generalist HR role at a Manager or HR Business Partner level, preferably within a small to medium-sized enterprise.

  • Solid understanding of modern awards and experience managing employee and industrial relations issues within Australia.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • A solution-oriented mindset with a focus on risk management and practical outcomes.

  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team contributor.
