Projects
- New project, migrating On-premises infra to the Cloud in AWS
- Global Infra Support (SE Asia, China, HK, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam)
- Global Server Support and Set-up
Responsibilities
- Newly created role and 1st hire in Malaysia for the migration project
- Global Infra Support (Network Systems, Servers, Storage and cloud services)
- Implementation and Maintenance of Network Solutions
- Monitor and manage cloud-based environments in AWS
- Implement and Manage robust Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- Provide comprehensive server support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers
Team & Culture
- Matrix reporting to the Head of APAC IT in Japan and day to day to the head of development (Malaysia) both have 10+ years in the business
- Team in Malaysian is 10 engineers (low staff turnover) and long term projects, good culture and respect for work life balance.
Must Have
- 5 years cloud experience (AWS or Azure / GCP)
- Migration experience from On-premises to Cloud
Nice to have
- MNC Background / have worked with international teams
- Global Support Experience
- Ability to communicate / sell the benefits of the cloud migration project
Levels:
- This is a senior individual contributor / IC role
- 5-10 years experience in (AWS / DevOps / Infra / Cloud / SRE / Engineering)
Location:
- Working 3 days a week from Damansara office, flexi start and finish times.
