Vesicash is a digital escrow service built to prevent digital fraud and disputes by providing payment security for all parties involved in P2P or marketplace transactions. In simple terms, they provide payment security for digital transactions.
They have studied the payments market place across Africa and have developed a solution to ensure that parties involved in financial transactions can do so with more confidence and knowledge that their interests are protected.

About The Role
Vesicash is looking to hire a Senior enterprise sales executive, who is analytical, collaborative, friendly, well-organized, and self-motivated. You will be responsible for revenue growth and market share penetration by closing new deals with large enterprises and SMEs.

What do you need to do to be considered successful?
You are expected to take ownership of customer acquisition and the client management process. Ideally, you should be an experienced self-starter who is comfortable working in ambiguous situations. You’ll also be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Revenue generation through strategic alliances with clients. Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers through direct prospecting, relationships, referrals and inbound leads.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability by targeting and mapping out opportunities within large and small enterprises.
  • Meeting with customers at the customer’s site, communicating with customers via phone, email, and teleconference where necessary.
  • Leading all aspects of the consultative sales process including new business development, client research, demoing, closing, and follow-up.
  • Effectively navigate and negotiate contracts.
  • Achieve & exceed quarterly sales quota.

Your mastery of this role and your ability to efficiently deliver on the requirements directly affect the quality of relationships Vesicash builds with her clients, the clients it attracts, and the inflow of new business into the company.

You will champion the acquisition of new customers and strategize to ensure Vesicash growing market share penetration and revenue.

What you need to have done in your Career
  • 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in financial services companies with a proven, documented track record of success.
  • Must have existing relationships within the financial services industry.
  • Must have existing relationships with key players in the financial space.
  • Must have experience in and understanding of the procurement-deployment phases of enterprise software for commercial banks and financial institutions.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to steadily convert qualified leads into sales opportunities.
  • Strong and effective (verbal and written) communication and management skills.
  • Excellent time management, negotiation, goal setting, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
