About the job Sales Engineer (Marine)

  • Create new rental opportunities in the industrial, offshore, subsea, marine, and environmental sectors throughout ASEAN.
  • Establish and preserve solid connections with government organizations, survey firms, contractors, and EPCs.
  • Create expert quotes, rental proposals, and business contracts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for ASEAN rental clients.
  • Make frequent trips throughout ASEAN to meet with clients, deliver technical demonstrations, and offer solutions.
  • To reach or surpass sales goals, haggle over rental conditions, costs, and agreements.
  • Determine the needs of the client and suggest appropriate rental fleet equipment.
  • Visit the location and the ship to assist with equipment setup, handover, and demonstrations.
  • To guarantee that equipment is tested, mobilized, and demobilized on time, collaborate closely with the technical/service team.
  • Offer troubleshooting assistance and basic user training for rented devices.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, marine, or a similar discipline.
  • Two to five years of technical equipment sales or rental expertise, preferably in industrial, offshore, or marine industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty industrial tools, compressors, diving systems, or survey equipment.
  • Outstanding communication, compromise, and presentation abilities.
