Accounts Executive (Shipping Accounts)

• Keep P&L and balance sheets up to date
• Make daily updates to the MIS
• In charge of bank reconciliations and cash flow
• Create and produce relevant invoices and credit notes on time.
• Maintain the billing system and keep an eye on and collect payments and accounts receivable.
• Recognize, comprehend, and carry out the complete chain of account, from the shipper's invoice and payment to the customer's invoice and payment till the audit.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding cargo and maritime insurance.
• Build connections with international team members, bankers, and traders.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in international business, international trade, accounting, or maritime
• At least three years of experience in a comparable role
• Knowledge of accounting in the maritime sector is desired
• The capacity to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A cooperative team member who can work independently and efficiently
