- All of Asia and the Pacific Rim, including the Indian subcontinent, are included in the role's assigned territory.
- Oversee the inside sales manager and regional sales directors at Singapore sales office.
- Due to the outside sales aspect of this position, travel abroad is necessary up to 60% of the time; however, actual travel needs fluctuate depending on the season, customer availability, and industry events.
- Develop and preserve ties with the principal freight and passenger carriers operating in the region, or as designated by management.
- This position offers proactive sales and business development support to the Distribution team.
- It does this by seeking and identifying opportunities for sales or asset purchases, as well as for Aviation quick-turn engine repair work, field service team support, and/or engineering services like fleet management, lease return conditions, etc.
- It is expected that for every significant assigned customer, a key contact roster and organizational chart will be identified, and that decision-makers in purchasing, engineering, quality, accounts payable, and other important customer departments will be clearly understood in order to support the engineering approval, collections, and sales processes in their entirety.
- Present all Aerospace Products and Solutions in a proactive manner.
- To do this, the candidate must become knowledgeable about all OEM Distribution Lines, understand the products that are distributed to identify pertinent opportunities during regular interactions and visits with assigned customers, and become comfortable with service and product offerings.
- In order to offer efficient and effective service, support, and pricing suggestions to assigned customers, you must tell all key stakeholders of all opportunities and seek out all information and resources from other members of the Distribution Team as necessary.
