Sales Coordinator (Marine)
About the job Sales Coordinator (Marine)
- Support the sales team's day-to-day activities.
- Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, and invoices.
- Coordinate the sales team's calendars, meetings, and appointments.
- Maintain and update customer records, sales reports, and databases.
- Communicate with customers on orders, deliveries, and service issues.
- Monitor sales performance data and create frequent reports for management.
- Assist with the creation of sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure that customer service runs smoothly.
- Respond to incoming sales requests and route them accordingly.
- Manage administrative activities like filing, data entry, and email correspondence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a sales support or administrative function.
- Prior experience in the marine business is beneficial.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and self-initiative.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service procedures.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in a fast-paced sales setting.
- Able to travel for job.
