Program Engineer
About the job Program Engineer
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners. Key point of contact for any operational issues raised at the working team level.
- Capacity/Production Planning: Work with internal teams and to develop production schedules. Align S&OP plans between company and partners; work to mitigate supply risks.
- Qualification: Work with the partner's management team to develop a severe qualification strategy including QA for partners to guarantee they fulfill company criteria (training, copy-exact transfer, FAI, and PPAP).
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA to implement quality control methods to guarantee that partners meet stringent quality, safety, trade, legal, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues and work with technical leads to analyze change requests. Liaise with Internal Manufacturing to address engineering concerns in production and enhance process efficiency in order to increase productivity.
- Help validate and implement improvement suggestions.
- Prepare materials to support negotiations to reach the best optimal cost and meet company goals (e.g., supply capacity, pricing structure, quality, etc.).
- Operational performance should be tracked on a regular basis using operational KPIs. Report any operational difficulties to the managers.
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to align and proceed in accordance with the plan to accomplish the intended results. Escalate and mitigate major business risks.
Role Requirement:
- Having a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of expertise in commercial/business and manufacturing functions (operations, quality, technology, and planning) is necessary.
- Experience in External and Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes, and Quality Management.
- Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
