Key duties include: 

  • Directly boosting revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and acquiring new clients. 
  • Examine, evaluate, and put into practice specific growth plans for each account you are in charge of. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to advance corporate policies and expansion strategies. 
  • Keep up positive, active interactions with customers to improve customer retention. 
  • Stay informed about changes in the market that affect the business sectors of the organization. 
  • Represent the business in conferences, trade events, and exhibitions as an ambassador. 
  • 30 to 50 days of travel are anticipated annually. 

Competencies, Expertise, and Knowledge: 

  • An international business degree is preferable, but not required. 
  • While not required, prior seafaring experience would be advantageous. 
  • Five years' worth of sales and/or account management experience is equivalent. 
  • Experience in the maritime sector
