About the job Investment Counsellor

  • Assess and carry out trades for client portfolios, funds, and model strategies.
  • Trade equities, bonds, futures, options, structured notes, ETFs, and more.
  • Make investments in funds, SMAs, SPVs, VCCs, and other public and private vehicles.
  • Take part in operations supervision and settlement procedures.
  • Manage the portfolios of SMA, SPV, structured note, and private fund investments throughout alternatives, fixed income, and stocks.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee investment plans for our clients while collaborating closely with outside partners, such as regulators, managers, administrators, and custodians.
  • Manage clients' portfolios. Make sure portfolios fulfill client objectives by proactively investing in tactics that diversify concentrated positions, hedge risks, and capture tax losses.
  • Oversee and direct client meetings. Produce and evaluate content. Commentary by the author.
  • Investigate markets, ETFs, stocks, bonds, and managers in-depth.
  • Find unique, alpha-producing investment managers outside of the US and oversee due diligence on their tactics
  • Communicate with the company's India Platform Team on tasks pertaining to investments.
  • Conduct due diligence on exchanges and determine how to obtain the appropriate exposure (e.g. buy on ASX vs. SGX).
  • Establish and preserve connections with exchanges, wholesalers, managers, traders, custodians, model suppliers, and outside sales.
  • Be a trusted advisor by proactively determining the needs and resolving issues of clients.
  • Increase strategy revenue by presenting clients and coworkers with interesting opportunities.
  • Increase client revenue by engaging clients and providing intelligent portfolio options.
