  • Find and cultivate prospective accounts in the territory that possess the mindset and potential to be valuable Key Account Service Partners.
  • Build and preserve a high rate of opportunity conversion by making the most of solid connections with decision-makers and influencers as well as potential clients.
  • Shape, influence, and carry out the sales and marketing plan, paying special attention to the important markets that have been designated. Find and seize chances to create new product categories, market niches, and distribution networks.
  • To guarantee the smooth implementation of sales strategies, this entails spotting new market prospects, creating strategic plans for sales, building trusting relationships with important clients, and working with internal teams. In addition, the role involves assessing market trends, establishing performance goals, and making sure the business maintains its competitiveness in the market.
  • In charge of creating and completing the company's growth and sales plan, which includes setting financial goals and particular sales targets.
  • To plan and create the yearly budget and sales projections, then carry out particular strategies to achieve the goal.
  • Create a shipping network and plan to promote client growth and new business in the maritime sector.
  • Develop and market the business's goods and services while taking client input and needs into account.
  • Effectively address technical or business enquiries from clients and continuously live up to their expectations.
  • Conduct market research surveys with the clientele to get their opinions on follow-up strategies, after-sales service quality, and sales and service tactics.
    Complete basic sales reports on a weekly and monthly basis for implementation and evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • An engineering degree or diploma, ideally in the fields of marine, mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical.
  • It is essential to have seven to ten years of solid and productive sales experience in the marine business, ideally selling capital equipment.
  • An effective communicator and strong networker who has managed to establish and preserve a strong internal and external network.
  • The capacity for high-level internal and external communication.
  • Results-oriented and tenacious in pursuing organisational goals.
  • The capacity to work directly with all departments, including product, development, marketing, sales, and account management.
  • Being open to travelling.
  • Owning a car is an extra benefit.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office.
