Our client, a growing food distribution company, is looking for a Sales Specialist for premium products like steaks and wines.
We are specifically seeking candidates with a hotel or hospitality background, as the role focuses on managing and expanding partnerships with hotels and restaurants.
Location: Makati
Work Setup: Onsite / Field-based
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with hotels, restaurants, and key accounts in the hospitality industry.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client base.
- Promote and sell premium food products, including high-quality steaks and wines.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and client meetings to showcase offerings.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic account management and business development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, and marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales or client-facing experience, preferably from hotels, restaurants, or the food service industry.
- Strong network within the hospitality (HORECA) industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in handling or selling premium products (e.g., meats, wines, specialty food items) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a field sales environment.
- Strong understanding of customer needs in the hotel and restaurant space.
