Accounting Intern - Gold Coast

The successful intern would get an exposure to the following duties:

• Prepare and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly
• Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations
• Assist with trust accounting for property management and sales systems, including receipting and reconciliations
• Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in deductions, payments, and reporting
• Provide administrative support such as filing, responding to inquiries, and general bookkeeping tasks.
