About the Role

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading technical services company for a skilled Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technical projects across South Africa. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and planning capabilities, a solid background in project execution, and preferably experience in telecoms or office automation.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Create detailed project plans and set timelines

Resource & Budget Management

  • Allocate and manage project resources efficiently

  • Track budgets and ensure projects stay within financial constraints

Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain open communication with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders

  • Provide regular progress updates and manage expectations

Project Completion

  • Lead project closeout including documentation, handover, and post-project evaluation


Minimum Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or related field

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous)

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills

  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2)

  • Solid problem-solving ability and decision-making under pressure

  • Technical acumen aligned to the industry
