Job Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll processing for both Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring it is accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Ensure payroll practices comply with legal standards, including overtime calculations, leave policies, and reimbursement claims.
- Handle statutory contributions, employee benefits, and allowances (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, CPF) in accordance with local requirements.
- Review and update company policies to stay aligned with current labor laws and statutory obligations in both countries.
Talent Acquisition
- Support hiring of non-executive employees via social media and external recruitment agencies.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for executive-level positions through platforms such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Manage onboarding processes and ensure all employee documentation is properly maintained.
Learning & Development
- Plan and implement annual training initiatives to support employee growth and organizational needs.
- Manage HRDC-related matters, including submissions, claims, and compliance reporting.
Office Operations
- Oversee support staff such as cleaners, gardeners, and other operational personnel.
- Supervise daily administrative functions, including facilities management and vendor coordination.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and efficient working environment.
HR Governance & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date HR records, reports, and analytics dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies across all business locations.
- Collaborate with senior HR leadership on policy implementation, workforce planning, and strategic HR initiatives.
ESH & Licensing
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) standards in line with regulatory requirements.
- Act as the key liaison with regulatory bodies for ESH and licensing matters, ensuring timely compliance and reporting.
- Coordinate factory licensing activities, including applications, renewals, and audit preparations.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,
Professional Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration,
Management, or equivalent. - Preferably minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience working in a publicly listed company environment is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local salary practices and legal regulations in Malaysia and
Singapore. - Proficient in English and Mandarin.
Working days and hours – Monday to Friday 830am – 615pm
