About the job Logistics & Shipping Executive
Job Description:
- Coordinate transportation resources for both in-house and OEM factories. Efficiently allocate vehicles, manage loading/unloading operations, and standardize delivery workflows to ensure timely material support for production. Ensure on-time delivery and reduce redundant labor.
- Manage import and export logistics, including shipment booking, coordination with freight forwarders for trucking and customs clearance, and preparation and organization of related documentation.
- Supervise logistics documentation, ensuring accurate information management, proper classification, and organized storage for easy retrieval. Oversee the handover of shipping documents, ensure proof of delivery (POD) is properly signed, and follow up promptly on any outstanding documents.
- Operate logistics systems (TMS) effectively to support shipment planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain close communication with sales and production planning teams. Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups and ensure smooth and timely information flow across departments.
- Ensure safety and compliance in on-site logistics operations, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and inventory control procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve inventory discrepancies and logistical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry, inventory tracking, and use of logistics or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Proficient in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) to effectively coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and international customers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Prior experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or logistics is not required but will be considered an advantage.
