KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own critical process and initiate change to improve and streamline overall effectiveness
  • Maintain global group planning calendar
  • Support budget & prepare reports for tax credit or audit purposes
  • Interact with internal and external partners on logistics and business operations
  • Responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and maintain close relationships with cross functional teams and other business partners to understand the business needs and processes
  • Record and manage donations using local or corporate databases
  • Work with corporate order management, customer management, quality and testing systems, including migrating systems to newer platforms
  • Reply to customer queries about products and donations
  • Create and update communications including web site and social media content
  • Ensure adherence to legal and export compliance regulations
  • Create purchase orders for vendors, track invoices and payment
  • Organize events such as conferences and workshops in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedule events such as review meetings of research initiatives with universities

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional, high energy, engaging personality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented mindset
  • Highly competent PC and MS Office user (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience of using corporate database applications, including CRMs
  • Ability to write short scripts to automate repetitive tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills including working with external customers
  • Motivated, self-starter capable of delivering high-quality work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent team-player, especially with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English

An ideal candidate would also have:

  • Familiarity with export compliance regulations
  • Experience with Web and or MS SharePoint site creation and maintenance
  • Experience with Python scripting language
  • Willing to travel on an occasional basis

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

· Bachelors degree in IT or business with at least 3 years of work experience or equivalent, relevant work experience
