Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various type of machines such as CNC Lathe, Laser Cutting machines, and Surface Grinders to produce precision components.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machine setup and part specifications.
  • Interpret and execute written instructions from process travelers, routers and work instructions.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools to measure and verify part accuracy.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Identify and report non-conforming parts and suggest corrective actions.
  • Perform basic maintenance on assigned machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate to maintenance or engineering when needed.
  • Complete production logs, inspection records, and maintenance checklists accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocol.
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisor and/or management immediately.
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized.
  • Hold self to a high standard of quality and workmanship.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
  • 5 years and above of experience operating CNC Lathe / Laser equipment / Surface Grinder in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles, materials, and tool selection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
  • Familiar with CNC programming (G-code knowledge is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Able to work in shift.
