Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee the accounting and payroll operations within our outsourced services department. This role involves managing a team, handling client portfolios, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of outsourced accounting and payroll departments, including budgeting, forecasting, and collection activities.

- Evaluate potential clients and projects, and assess pricing for quotations to ensure profitability and competitiveness.

- Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and delivery of financial management reports.

- Participate in internal audit assignments and prepare audit reports with actionable insights.

- Develop and implement effective processes and procedures that comply with evolving regulatory and statutory requirements.

- Monitor deadlines and ensure all deliverables, particularly in accounting and payroll, are completed on time and with high accuracy.

- Establish and update payroll policies and procedures in alignment with legal and organizational requirements.

- Ensure full compliance with relevant local laws and regulations (e.g., LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, PSMB, ZAKAT, ASNB), and advise management on necessary actions.

- Allocate tasks, manage team schedules, and follow up on results to ensure operational efficiency.

- Uphold strict confidentiality in handling payroll and sensitive client information.

- Stay current with professional and industry developments by attending relevant workshops, reading publications, and participating in professional networks.

- Contribute actively to the teams performance and the achievement of overall company goals.

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of direct audit experience at a supervisory level.

- In-depth knowledge of MPERS accounting standards and statutory regulations (LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, etc.).

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical skills.

- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.

- High level of integrity and professionalism with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
