Application Support & Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Application Support & Developer to join our dynamic development team. This hybrid role consists of 50% application support and 50% development, supporting the ongoing improvement and reliability of AMDs manufacturing and quality systems. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail‑oriented, and proficient with AI‑powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for critical applications.
• Implement bug fixes, minor enhancements, and reliability improvements across legacy and modern systems.
• Use AI‑assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for coding, debugging, and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure system quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Back‑end technologies: .NET Framework (4.x) & C#, Entity Framework (ORM), RESTful APIs/Web API, ASP.NET Web Forms/Web Services
• Front‑end technologies: AngularJS, Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights)
• Process & practices: Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies; ability to produce clean, maintainable code
• Soft skills: Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities; strong communication and teamwork
• Tools: Comfortable using AI‑powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
