Senior Optical Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing, designing, analyzing and optimizing product vision systems and optics for industrial imaging and automated inspection
• Responsible for optical product assembly and testing and buyoff
• Implement product and process improvement
• Perform proper documentation related to optical module
• Lead root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for complex issues in RD stage and mass production stage
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure
• Coordinate design phases, transfer and project scheduling
• Responsible for new optical module design independently and review junior engineer's design
• Responsible for evaluation and generate analysis report independently and review junior engineer's report
• Master on machine operation and working principal
• Translate customer's requirement into design specification, evaluate design feasibility and provide technical expertise to exceed customer expectations
• Guide & coach development engineers and ensure knowledge sharing

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in Optics engineering or related
• Strong in optical path design, lens material selection and assembly process
• Rich experience in modeling and simulation
• Familiar with common optical components and testing instruments
• Innovative, creativity and hardworking
• Strong technical leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive thinking and willing to provides extended support to customer
• Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges
• Required hands-on experiences on design & develop semiconductor equipment.
• Good project management skills
• Senior Development Engineer: At least 4 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
