Sales Director Position

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Sales Director will oversee all sales in the Pacific Northwest. This includes managing individual contributors, middle management in WA, ID & AK, and conducting monthly check-ins throughout the region. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing 2 Sales Managers each managing about 10 people
  • Supervising one Sales Trainer and one Key Account Manager/Service Manager
  • Managing a team of 24 sales people
  • Being accountable for the performance, coaching, and mentoring of teams across each state
  • Maintaining repeat business with a steady year over year growth
  • Reporting to a Branch Manager locally
  • Conducting team talks
  • Providing frequent communication to all regional leaders, as well as corporate partners

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales management with strong coaching skills
  • Experience managing sales within a standard process & sales methodology that can be taught to both sales representatives and middle managers
  • Experience managing profit and loss
  • No more than 3 jobs in 10 years
