Job Position: Install & Service Technician
Our client is a leading provider in the commercial security industry with over 80 years of service. Specializing in services such as Commercial Fire Alarm Systems, Business Intrusion Detection, HD Cameras Video Surveillance, Commercial Access Control, Environmental Monitoring, and Commercial Elevator Security. They are currently seeking a dedicated Install & Service Technician to play a pivotal role in serving their commercial and residential clients throughout the I-5 corridor, from Tumwater to Lynnwood and Bellingham.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot fire alarm and security system faults and trace and repair ground faults
- Perform Hardwired and Wireless Security installations
- Inspect and test electronic fire alarm and security systems at customer sites
- Produce system inspection, testing, and correction reports
- Service, troubleshoot, and install various brands of electronic fire alarm and security equipment such as Alarm.com, Honeywell, Silent Knight
- Test all equipment after installation/repair to ensure system performance
- Communicate professionally with peers, customers, and managers
Qualifications:
- 06 license required
- Fire experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience with programming or alarm systems is a plus
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
The pay range for this position is $37.38–$41.12 per hour for those with an 06 license. For those with NICET or CFAT + 06, the pay range is $39–$42.80. Rates can go up to $55/hr depending on experience.
