Job Opening: Fire Alarm Inspector
Our client is a trusted, family-run company for four generations, specializing in Fire Alarm/Detection, Security/Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Elevator, and Environmental Monitoring. They are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector with a NICET II or CFAT certification to conduct system inspections across the Puget Sound region. The company offers an attractive benefits package, including 85% medical coverage for the employee, 50% medical coverage for dependents, a 401K plan, and a company vehicle with a gas card.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardwired and wireless fire and security alarm systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues, including IP addressing; maintain accurate service records and recommend equipment updates.
- Communicate clearly with customers, provide usage instruction, and document repairs or service needs for follow-up.
- Drive to job sites, follow all safety protocols, and maintain consistent attendance while supporting other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman-level inspector with NICET II or CFAT & FA-1 license (required to sign off)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fire alarm inspection preferred
- 06 license required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively (1-2 person teams)
Pay Rates:
- $45–$49/hour (with FA-1)
- $45/hour (NICET II)
- Up to $55/hour DOE
