Job Opening: Fire Alarm Inspector

Our client is a trusted, family-run company for four generations, specializing in Fire Alarm/Detection, Security/Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Elevator, and Environmental Monitoring. They are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector with a NICET II or CFAT certification to conduct system inspections across the Puget Sound region. Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardwired and wireless fire and security alarm systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues, including IP addressing; maintain accurate service records and recommend equipment updates.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, provide usage instruction, and document repairs or service needs for follow-up.
  • Drive to job sites, follow all safety protocols, and maintain consistent attendance while supporting other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman-level inspector with NICET II or CFAT & FA-1 license (required to sign off)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fire alarm inspection preferred
  • 06 license required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively (1-2 person teams)

Pay Rates:

  • $45–$49/hour (with FA-1)
  • $45/hour (NICET II)
  • Up to $55/hour DOE
