Our client, a well-established company offering a wide range of commercial services from plumbing to ductless heat pumps, is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Service Technician. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
  • Carry out service repairs and projects
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on HVAC systems
  • Perform equipment start-ups
  • Manage building system and HVAC controls
  • Manage schedules and maintain strong time management skills
  • Maintain strong communication with customers
  • Operate a service van

Qualifications:

  • 06A Electrical license
  • EPA license
  • VRF and Heat Pump certifications on equipment
  • Universal refrigeration card
  • Valid driver's license that passes insurance requirements
  • Refrigerant license - City of Seattle
  • Willingness to participate in drug tests
  • Able to work with mechanical tools
  • Capable of lifting objects up to 75 lbs
  • Good driving record (for insurance)
  • Ability to work independently on Service Calls
  • Union affiliations: Local 32, Local 66, or non-union applicants with a willingness to join one of the unions
