About the job National Seafood Sales Executive
Our client is a vertically integrated producer, processor and Distributor of fresh & frozen seafood products. They have a great reputation for both high quality commodity products, great value added products, and are a reputable place to work having exceptionally low turnover, and a track record for training, developing skills and then giving their talent the opportunity to create results. (no micro-management).
They have been growing by creating new products, sell frozen seafood primarily to Retail Grocery, but also to Distributors and some large chains of restaurants.
They are seeking someone with experience selling primary to National Retail Grocery and National Food Distribution.
Job Responsibilities
- Inherit, build existing accounts, providing great service, and adding more line items to each existing account.
- Prospect, Find, Develop and execute Key Account development plans to grow book of business with new and existing customers
- Develop & maintain buyer and management-level relationships
- Track key trends, identify, prioritize and develop programs for new revenues.
Qualifications
- 3 years experience selling Frozen Seafood, CPG or Fish to National distributors or Retail Grocery channels
- 3 years business development experience - You'll be handed a small book of business, but this role's intention is for new business development
- Experience working in teams and implementing key initiatives
- Familiar with contract negotiation
Compensation is a competitive Base Salary between $90-150K + Bonuses as well as an employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision & 401k Benefits Package which includes a generous Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick and Holiday) package..
