Inside Sales Representative
Our client, a renowned organization in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative. They offer a range of products and services, including Decking, Engineered Wood, Fasteners/Connectors, Fencing, Railing, Siding, and Timbers. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in receiving and processing orders, providing product information and pricing, and assisting customers with their needs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and writing orders from customers over the phone, providing pricing, product, and delivery information.
- Servicing customers at the walk-in counter who may need information or product.
- Fielding phone and in-person inquiries providing pricing/quotes from established price books/lists and product information.
- Coordinating orders with yard personnel.
- Assisting customers with problems.
- Communicating order information and status to appropriate Account Managers for their customers.
- Participating in physical inventories.
- Maintaining ongoing product knowledge.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and being flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited academic institution or commensurate industry experience.
- Ability to model the company values.
- Ability to multi-task and have multiple projects going simultaneously, while maintaining high-quality results.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage the commitment of customers and team members.
- A strong sense of urgency for goal achievement.
