The business Analyst is responsible for understanding the product and market demand, and stakeholder requirements and designing the product feature and solution, coordinating with the technical team to develop the feature accordingly to meet the expectation. Establish the product roadmap as per the product vision. Assessing the change needs, analysing the impacts of change, documenting and supporting communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capturing requirements needed to initiate a change in the information system.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Have the ownership of the product function, features and roadmap.
  • Enhance user experience and improve the features to bring excellence to routine work.
  • Work as an interface among various stakeholders in terms of requirement collection, capture, design, support development, testing, and delivery.
  • Frequently performing Business Process Mapping BPM for the required business solution and adapting the process-centric approach for the applications development.
  • Using various tools and techniques to format and simplify requirements in a way that suits various levels of stakeholders.
  • Clear process definition, modelling, analysis, and documentation of the cross-functional core business processes (As-is & To-be).
  • Collecting the requirement and formalizing in formal requirement documents for various stages like Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Sequence or Activity Diagram, Object Diagram, Logical and physical ER diagram.
  • Performing detailed Gap analysis, Forward/Reverse Engineering.
  • Perform solid prototyping/wireframing to visualize the working design before moving into development.
  • Transform the requirement into well-organized documents such as requirement traceability matrix, General Design, Architecture Design and detailed functional Design documents that suit the team's required level of understanding of the system.
  • Focus on the agility and Business Architecture layer while exploring and designing the functionality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful implementation of solutions.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for ERP processes, data management, and system integrations.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to maximize utilization and adoption of the system.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ERP to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Through understanding and experience in managing Agile (Scrum) and Lean (Kanban) methodologies to manage the product development and team.
  • Enhancing the quality of products, processes, and features as a product owner, 
  • Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models. 
  • Finding technological solutions to business requirements.
  • Involved in project coordination activity and supporting the project manager. 
  • Involved in application architecture and technical design. 

Skill Require

  • Have experience in managing Finance & Supply Chain or HRMS & HCM products.
  • Manage the product vision, and product roadmap and align with market demand.
  • Continuously Introduce competitive features to stay product in the market.
  • Must have hands-on in Business Process Mapping (BPM) using Bizagi and Process Maker or any other process mapping tool.
  • Must have hands-on experience in requirement gathering, elicitation, design, and documenting.
  • Must use various modelling uses to model the requirements such as Ecosystem Map, Context Diagram, Use case diagram, feature model, process flow, data flow diagram, interface model etc.
  • Hand on various techniques in collecting requirements such as
  • Document Analysis, Facilitated Workshop, Focus Group and Prototyping (Storyboarding) etc.
  • Draft SRS, Architecture Design, Detail Design and Technical Design documents etc.
  • Domain Knowledge at least in ERP applications (HRMS, SCM, Finance & Accounting etc.)
  • Must have hands-on one of the known ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Zoho, Odoo or any other etc.).
  • Good to know the various technologies involved in application development.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resource Management HCM/HRMS processes and systems, such as employee management, payroll, and talent acquisition or a strong understanding of Finance & Supply Chain F& SC functionalities.
  • Domain knowledge in both HCM/HRMS processes and F&SC will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements. 
  • Have software development knowledge and experience. 
  • Hands-on in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing. 
  • Analytical Skills, creative and critical thinking, and negotiation skills. 
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize the tasks based on organizational goals. 

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a business analyst role and out of these 2-3 years of experience (prefer) in software development.

Domain

  • Human Capital Management HCM / Human Resource Management HRMS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Computer Science/ Software Eng. / IT
  • Professional or academic qualification in Finance (CA, ACCA, CIMA), partly or fully qualified. (in case F&SC)
  • Certifications or Professional/Academic qualifications related to HCM/HRMS
  • Business Analysis Certification (CBAP) Highly Preferred.
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) - Preferred
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)- Preferred
