Position: Health and Safety Advisor

We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Belgrade. In this role, you will ensure a safe and compliant working environment by identifying risks, implementing preventive measures, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential workplace hazards, including risks from new processes, equipment, or work conditions, and recommend effective control measures.

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.

  • Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees and management.

  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, including prevention plans, inspection records, and compliance reports.

  • Liaise with external service providers for risk assessments, equipment maintenance, and regulatory checks.

  • Collaborate with internal safety committees to resolve high-risk issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Develop, update, and communicate emergency response and evacuation plans.

  • Stay informed about evolving safety legislation, standards, and best practices.


Requirements

  • Native or fluent English (C1 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Technical Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • 35 years of professional experience in Occupational Health and Safety or a similar field.

  • Valid OHS certification or license (as required by law).

  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, risk management, and compliance procedures.

  • Hands-on ability to identify hazards, implement safety measures, and inspect equipment.

  • Physically able to perform on-site inspections across different environments.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
