We are seeking an experienced Lighting Department Manager to lead our lighting operations within a fast-paced live production environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between creative vision and technical execution, maintaining excellence in every production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the lighting department, ensuring alignment with production and technical goals.

• Develop and implement departmental policies, workflows, and quality standards to drive efficiency and innovation.

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality visual experiences.

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate lighting staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous professional development.

• Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, and allocation, ensuring readiness and reliability across all productions.

• Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

• Troubleshoot technical issues swiftly and effectively, providing clear reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Stay current with new lighting technologies and production techniques to continuously enhance operations.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven leadership experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a live production, broadcast, or entertainment environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, control consoles, and stage equipment.

• Demonstrated success in managing and motivating technical teams under high-pressure, deadline-driven conditions.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, proactive approach.

• Commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedules.
