Position: PHP/Laravel Backend Developer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Employment Type: Hybrid, Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

Responsibilities:

• Develop and extend the functionality of web applications
• Write high-quality, scalable, and secure code
• Write unit, functional, and integration tests
• Optimize databases for performance
• Analyze business requirements and implement them
• Write technical documentation for implemented features
• Provide support for production systems and proactively address technical issues
• Collaborate with development, product, and stakeholders to meet deadlines
  

Requirements:

• Previous working experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer for 5+ years
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a similar relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and the Laravel Framework
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design
• Proficiency in software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec)
• Experience with MySQL profiling and query optimization
• Proficient with Git
• Creative and efficient problem solver
• Previous experience within the FinTech or FX industry is considered an advantage
