Position: Dutch-Speaking Chat Customer Support Agent

Location: Riga, Latvia
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (min. 20 hours/week)
Work Model: On-site (Hybrid option available after 3 months,  performance-based)


We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Chat Customer Support Agent to join our team in Riga!
In this role, youll be assisting users of a global payment platform exclusively through chat and emailno phone calls involved. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support via chat and emailno voice calls required

  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely responses to customer inquiries

  • Log case details and resolutions in the internal support system

  • Ensure all cases are resolved within established timelines and procedures

  • Escalate high-priority issues when necessary

  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative support team

  • Maintain exceptional service quality across all interactions

  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and punctuality expectations

  • Meet key performance targets (response time, resolution rate, handling time, etc.)

  • Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives

  • Perform additional tasks as needed to enhance customer experience and improve team performance


Requirements

Language Skills

  • Dutch: B2 (Upper-Intermediate or above) strong written communication

  • English: B1+ (Intermediate or above)

Background & Skills

  • Previous customer service experience (especially in outsourced environment) is an advantage

  • Strong computer literacy; minimum typing speed of 50 WPM at 90% accuracy

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Friendly, positive, self-driven, and adaptable personality

  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to work in shifts and adapt to fast-changing priorities


Eligibility & Relocation

  • EU citizenship or valid work permit for Latvia

  • Willingness to relocate to Riga (relocation assistance provided)

  • Willingness to undergo a background check (e.g., criminal record)
