We are working with a leading B2B solution provider that is looking to recruit an experienced AV Specialist to join their team in Bucharest. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with AV systems, and the ability to support both in-studio and outside broadcast productions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and test new AV equipment and facilities.

  • Demonstrate advanced crimping skills with connectors such as BNC, Micro BNC, RJ45, and XLR.

  • Set up and configure AV broadcasting hardware and IT networking systems, including star networks for seamless communication.

  • Operate and maintain scalers, matrix systems, and other AV infrastructure.

  • Support and maintain equipment for virtual studio productions.

  • Establish and monitor AV links between different locations or units.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.

  • Provide alternative solutions during equipment failures to ensure business continuity.

  • Set up and operate equipment for outside broadcasts and live productions.

  • Design and install custom AV circuits and hardware systems.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, creative directors, and colleagues to execute instructions effectively.

  • Promote best practices in workplace health and safety.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and techniques.


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of photography principles (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, lenses).

  • Technical expertise with professional cameras and related equipment.

  • Hands-on experience in electronic engineering and communication devices.

  • Advanced video camera operation skills.

  • Proficiency in using production video switchers.

  • Experience with live chroma keying (green screen).

  • Strong understanding of SDI (Serial Digital Interface) systems and infrastructure.

  • Solid IT skills and experience in project management.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with a creative approach.

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Effective communication skills for working with colleagues and clients.
