About Caring Transitions

Caring Transitions is a national franchise specializing in helping seniors transition into senior centers or care facilities by assisting with downsizing, packing, moving, unpacking, resettling and estate sales. We have our own auction house, CT Bids, where we help our clients generate proceeds by giving their belongings a fresh start with a new family.

About the Role

Youll curate, price, and photograph items for CTBids auctionsmoving efficiently through each home, researching value, and presenting items so they sell. This role blends value savviness, strong photography skills, and organizational executionwith high integrity in clients homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate lots and set pricing using local/national secondhand trends, Google Lens, and sold-value research.
• Capture clear, value-forward photos and write concise, accurate descriptions.
• Process and organize high volumes of items efficiently in diverse home environments.
• Upload, tag, and track items in CTBids and with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with teammates; communicate clearly; adapt to changing on-site needs.
• Handle client property with exceptional trustworthiness and professionalism.

Performance & Team Expectations

• Meet or exceed KPIs, including items photographed per hour and catalog accuracy/timeliness.
• Be a team playerreliable, respectful, and supportive across roles.
• Remain open to feedback and redirection; iterate quickly to improve results.

What Youll Bring

• Working knowledge of the resale/secondhand market; ability to spot value and trends.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new apps/workflows (CTBids, mobile tools, Google Lens).
• Strong photography, staging, and detail skills.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
• Prior e-commerce/online auction/resell experience preferred.
