Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

- Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the company.

- Manage the supplier selection process, including conducting research, evaluating proposals, and making recommendations.

- Monitor and analyze market trends and prices to identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and take corrective actions as needed.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

- Manage a team of procurement professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.

- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.

- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement.

Package Details

This pay rate is the good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this job posting. Carlton Electric reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate if they believe the new range is determined in good-faith. Carlton Electric reserves the right to adjust compensation based on, but not limited to, approved factors such as seniority, merit, quantity and/or quality systems, location, education and/or training, and required travel.
