Your Role
As a Designer at CJ+C, you'll support teams in delivering innovative design projects, applying your foundational skills and creative energy to contribute to projects from concept to completion. With 0-5 years of experience, you're an emerging talent eager to learn and grow in design-driven projects, focusing on user-centered experiences. What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the project designer and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and project execution.
- Address complex design challenges with creative and practical solutions.
- Engage in all project phases, including conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and production.
- Work with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Assist in the management of client expectations, team communication, and coordination with consultants.
- Participate in office initiatives, activities, and professional development programs.
- Create graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
- Apply hand-rendering techniques to effectively convey design concepts.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution
- Actively working towards licensure is a plus
- 1-5 years of relevant project experience
- Skilled in 3D modeling software, Revit + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software such as Rhino.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and accessibility standards
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications
- Eagerness to build collaborative relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
